Maybe a little late, but nevertheless, it's time to present you the best Drupal blogs that were written in the previous month. So, here's the work by other authors from January.

We begin our overview with Danny Sipos, who wrote Advanced techniques for route access control in Drupal 8. In his article, he looked at an example of a complex access requirement. He used a trick that opened the door to some complex access restriction rules on your routes.

Our second choice was How to Build Drupal Slideshow Using Views and Slick by Daniel Pickering. The author has made a blog post in a shape of a tutorial. He showed us how to build a slideshow that uses your article content type to make a slideshow with a teaser.

A third spot was reserved for Makan and his blog post Better Accessibility in Drupal 8 is Great News for All Users. The author critically looked at how the accessibility is understood and pointed out that ignoring accessibility is missing an opportunity for all of the users.

Since we have announced the release of the Drupal SEO book at the time, we must point out the Lullabot's blog post Drupal SEO with Ben Finklea in a shape of a podcast. Authors Mike and Matt sat down with Ben and talked about all kind of things about SEO and Drupal. The book was of course not forgotten.

We continue with Ivan Zugec, quite a regular author on our list, who published How to Build Custom Pages Using Page Manager and Panels in Drupal 8. He used Panels for building custom pages in Drupal 7, but in Drupal 8 he had to deal with Page Manager. Therefore, he showed us how to use both in order to get the best result. You can read the full blog post here.

Our sixth choice is Janez Urevc, who wrote Current status of Media in Drupal 8 Core and next steps. A lot have been said in the past about problems Drupal face in its core, especially when it comes to managing media. The author explained the problems, revealed what was achieved and summarized what still has to be done.

And we conclude our list with Markie and Tim Dickens who presented us some tips on how to prepare for the Drupal Certification Exams. Well, to be precise, they offered us knowledge on how to prepare for the Acquia certification test.

That's our selection for the past month. We are quite aware that not everyone is interested in everything and that some other important topics were covered as well. But as we said, that's our selection. Don't forget, we'll make a list every month so that you will be informed as much as possible. Until then, wait for our next blog post.
