We map the modules, custom code and dependencies, and check which tests exist before we change anything.
Upgrade in steps
Version by version on a staging copy, with automated upgrade tools where they exist, so each step is tested on its own.
Remove technical debt
Dead code and workarounds left by earlier teams come out, so the next change costs less.
Then build forward
New features go onto stable ground. If an upgrade would cost more than it returns, we tell you and plan a rewrite instead.
Olex.ai: from an inherited platform to an award-winning product
Olex.ai's platform had passed through several agencies before us. We moved it from Drupal 9.4/9.5 to latest Drupal and removed a large share of legacy code, then built AI marking and OCR on top.
